Support Lebanon

Mattress & Food Initiative

Ziad Abichaker, founder and CEO of Cedar Environmental, an environmental & industrial engineering organization aiming at promoting and building recycling plants in Lebanon is leading an initiative to provide recycled mattresses and food to the displaced being sheltered in schools and other locations in all Lebanese regions. Ziad and his team have already delivered 600 mattresses but the latest strikes on Lebanon created more displaced generating a need for more funds to meet the sudden need. Caram is collecting funds to support Ziad's initiative.

AL Kafaat children support Initiative

The Al-Kafaàt Foundation is a nonprofit and non-partisan organization that was founded in 1957 by a philanthropist couple, Nadeem and Lily Shwayri. Al-Kafaàt delivers free of charge rehabilitation and education to the most challenged and underprivileged of Lebanon.
Three centers of the Foundation are in the southern suburb of Beirut. Al-Kafaàt urgently evacuated the children and adults with severe special needs who have no family and reside there, along with all employees and their families who were seeking refuge in the center. They are all now on another center of the Foundation, in Mount-Lebanon.
As Al-Kafaàt is relocating its services to pursue providing free of charge care and rehabilitation to over 500 children and adults with special needs who are completely abandoned during this traumatic phase, all help and support is needed.
